Another successful week came my way, friends!
I weighed in early this week (Saturday instead of Monday) because I had a big weekend ahead: bachelorette party fun on Saturday night, and, of course, Labor Day weekend celebrations.
Here are the stats:
Beginning Weight: 173.2lbs
Week 1 Weight: 172.0lbs
Week 2 Weight: 168.8lbs
Week 2 Weight Loss: 3.2lbs
Total Weight Loss: 4.4lbs
I was stoked at my progress the past week!! I get very excited every time I have reason to adjust the weight DOWN in my heart rate monitor that I wear to the gym. Other NSV (non-scale victories) this week included staying on track totally Monday-Friday with my calories and listening to my body when I needed a break from exercising on Thursday but making up for it by adjusting my diet. I felt totally in control!
This week will be a challenge versus the scale I feel. I'm still trying to work out the best morning to weigh in. I think Sundays may win it due to being enough motivation to keep me in check Friday and Saturday, and giving my body enough time to wake up in the mornings for a good weigh in.
This past weekend was a bit of a splurge, too, though. Bachelorette party fun = drinking (but I "lost" a lot of the alcohol that went into my body that night, so who knows!). Labor day picnics = not so many approved foods, but I tried to keep it in check a bit. Just have to make sure I make up for it the next few days by being extra on track!
My mini goal is to hit at least 10lbs total lost by the wedding I am attending on September 27th - so that gives me about 4 weeks. I think that's realistic! Wish me luck!
Have a great week!!
